HG Youth Choirs
Hamilton-Gibson offers two choral opportunities for kids in grades 2-8.
The CHILDREN'S TREBLE CHOIR features singers from grades 5-8. Participation in this choir for equal number of boys (with unchanged voices) and girls requires a commitment for a school year, attendance at rehearsals and concerts, and ability to match pitches. Repertoire is varied and ranges from more classical to folk, pop, spirituals and more.
The CHOIR TOO is the training choir for children in grades 2-4 and those who are still working on their singing voice and maturity level. The choir provides an introduction and development of the singing voice, rhythm, intonation and the joy of singing in a choral setting.
Enrollment is open to all children and typically includes students from all three school districts, private and home-schooled children. Though the choirs rehearse in a church it is a community-based program welcoming all races, creeds, socioeconomic and musical experience levels.
The tuition cost for participation is waived due to generous gifts from area patrons and choir fundraisers. There is an annual $40 registration fee. Scholarships are available to families thanks to the Katherine Brennan Scholarship Fund. DOWNLOAD REGISTRATION FORM

Theatre Arts Camp for Kids

HG offers two camps each year. . .a winter drama camp in January, February and March and a summer camp held in June-July.
