Tioga County Fairgrounds
This year the campers will explore the theme “True Colors” culminating in two performances on the final day. The campers will immerse themselves in workshops on voice projection, character development, set creation, stage singing, and basic acting. All activities for the week-long day camp will be through the kaleidoscopic lens of “true colors.”
The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from June 23 to 26; and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on June 27 with public performances at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Campers bring their lunches each day.
It all takes place at the Tioga County Fairgrounds in Whitneyville. Transportation is provided from various pick-up points throughout the county.
The camp is open to students who have completed third through ninth grade, and is free of charge due to the generous gifts from the Tioga County Partnership for Community Health and Seneca Resources.
Registration forms will be available soon on the HG website and at the HG office at 29 Water St, Wellsboro. Call (570) 724-2079 or email [email protected] for more information. The deadline for registrations is June 10.
